Donna García Davidson

Donna García Davidson is a candidate for Texas' Third Court of Appeals based in Austin. Donna has lived in district comprising the Third Court of Appeals for 38 years and has practiced law throughout the area for 25 years. She is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 1992.

Donna's legal experience spans both public and private practice and includes, among her current clients, the Republican Party of Texas, for whom she continues to serve as redistricting litigation counsel, as well as several Texas Republican state senators and representatives, political consultants, county Republican parties, lobbyists, PACs and associations. Evident throughout Donna's career is her commitment to public service and public servants as her clients. Donna also has personal insights into the issues facing small business because of her personal experiences running her own business as a sole practitioner and her past experience owning a retail store, The Rock Christian Books and Music.

Shortly after the primary, Greg and Donna will celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary. The Davidsons are the proud parents of a 16-year-old, soon-to-be-licensed daughter, Mary Grace, and are also the humans belonging to Lucy, their black lab.
